Issuance of Building Permit
A building permit is required prior to construction, alteration, major repair, or renovation of any building/structure
Sign Logbook & Secure Forms
Sign client logbook and secure application forms and checklist of requirements
Submit Application & Plans
Submit application form and requirements for verification by engineers. Plans must be signed and sealed.
Get Order of Payment
Receive order of payment (one day after date of submission)
Pay Fees at Treasurer's Office
Pay building permit fee and other fees at the Municipal Treasurer's Office
Get First Endorsement
Secure first endorsement with official receipt
Get Building Permit
Claim building permit (5 days after payment) with official receipt and endorsements

Important Notes
- Permit becomes null and void if work does not commence within 1 year
- Permit is suspended or abandoned if work stops for 120 days
- Zoning clearance must be secured from the Zoning Administrator
- Fees depend on rates stated in Revenue Code and National Building Code
