Important Registration Deadlines

The Certificate of Marriage (COM) of a Civil or Church wedding with Marriage License must be registered within fifteen (15) days after the solemnization of marriage. COM of a Civil or Church Wedding under Art. 34 or PD 1083 must be registered within thirty (30) days after the solemnization of marriage. Registration of marriage certificate is free of charge, pursuant to Section 6 of P.D. No. 651.

Follow these steps to register your marriage certificate

Submit Certificate of Marriage

Submit the accomplished Certificate of Marriage (COM) for review. The COM must be duly signed by the contracting parties, solemnizing officer, and at least two witnesses.

Claim Registered Certificate

Get your copy of COM duly registered and signed by the Receiving Officer and MCR or any authorized signatory. Accomplish Client Feedback Form and drop at designated suggestion box.

For Timely Registration (Within 15/30 Days)

  • Certificate of Marriage duly signed by the contracting parties
  • Signature of the solemnizing officer
  • Signatures of at least two (2) witnesses

For Delayed Registration

  • Affidavit for Delayed Registration of Marriage (at the back of the document shall be accomplished)
  • PSA negative certification
  • Affidavit of the solemnizing officer or the person reporting or presenting the marriage certificate for registration stating the facts and circumstances surrounding the marriage and the reason or cause of delay

Engaged couples (either one or both of them is a resident of Solano, NV) of legal ages who are intending to get married must apply for marriage license at the MCRO. The Marriage License is valid anywhere in the Philippines for a period of 120 days from the date of issue.
